Skate Jam Highlights
Luckily, the 40% chance of rain was moved down to 20% and took place way early in the morning. By noon, the sun was shining, we started setting up some skateable objects and Lalo fired up the grill. Free boards, shirts, hats, stickers were tossed out to a crowd of skate rats (hotdogs were handed out, which was probably a good idea).

At the end of the day, we thought it would be a good idea to have a track and field event with some hurdles thrown in for a fresh Girl board.

Texas and Cali Spots
This montage was edited by Phil and he does some really good work. It has some of the riders from the shop and some friends we've met throughout the years.

Double Dipping Today Boys
Sorry I posted again today I was just really excited with this clip. Strobeck is my favorite filmer/editor and these quicksilver clips show why. If you haven't already checked out his website surf over there and give it a peek. Austin Gillette and Justin Brock put these spots to shame, enjoy.
Making Friends with Blueprint
By now everyone should know this company, especially since fully flared came out show casing some of their riders. Based out of Europe, Marty is one of the two riders from America. Seriously it's no mystery how he got on, he's damn good. Check out some of the left overs from the new video.

1989 Hobo Tour
Mike Vallely, Jason Lee, and Jesse Martinez
Only another hour and a half of work, then approaches a nice and peaceful weekend. While at my desk here at work, I stumbled upon a pretty sweet gem of a video from about twenty years ago. The first skate video I ever saw was Powell-Peralta's Public Domain on betamax at a friend's house. I was pretty stoked on Ray Barbee and Mike Vallely (and still am).
The days of jump ramps and fish shaped boards are long gone, but its always nice to take a glimpse into the past (plus, Lalo would probably dig this too).
I found this little deal on Friends We Love, which is a great place to kill some time while at work or school.

Loads of fun on Crailtap
http://www.crailtap.com/c3/feature_features/girlpark_feature.html
Here is a link to the video which shows the new girl park. It's pretty much the same as the old park but just with a bit more things to skate on. If you dont like some of the girl heads you should still watch it, the video has footy of HASOI, deawon, and loads of chocolate heads.

Roger Skateboards
Come and get'em before they're gone and then we have to order some more and then you'll have to wait about a week or so, or maybe just 2-3 business days depending on shipping and if we do a reorder that day and if we decide we'd rather skate in front of the shop all afternoon than try to get these puppies back in.

Rasa Libre & Bryan Botelho
Bryan used to reside in Texas but has officially jumped ship to San Fransico, I think. Anyways the dude has impecable style and skill on the board. I have not seen any recent footage of his skating but Rasa Libre decided to post his part online. Ask, wait demand, Lalo to caryy this company. One of the greatest board companies ever with amazing designs.
Remember to support your local skate shop and quit wasting money at the mall. Next time you go there just ask some random questions and see if they can help you out with that. For example ask them about some local spots or maybe who Huf is and see the reply. Sorry I went off topic but I think you get the point just check it out.
